I propose placing a SMR (small nuclear modular reactor at the data center(s). It will be carbon neutral and can easily accommodate data center power growth.

Because they are small, prefabricated SMRs can be manufactured and then shipped and installed at the point of load thus minimizing loss.
SMRs offer savings in cost and construction time, and can accommodate future growth
A data center should only utilize power it generates. And an SMR is sized accordingly to that.
